The Xerox Wide Format 8300 series is a range of large format colour printers that have been specifically designed to deliver high speed printing with high image quality for outdoor applications.

Reliability

The 8300 series of printers employs extremely durable and reliable piezo electric drop on demand ink jet heads. These have been developed with high quality mild solvent based inks, this reliably produces images for a wide range of long term outdoor applications.

The combination of long term outdoor longevity and mild solvent based inks, allowing the 8300 series to print directly onto a wide variety of low cost uncoated materials, such as scrim vinyl, PVC, adhesive film and banner material.

Durability

For true long-term outdoor use the 8300 series inks are waterproof, highly abrasion resistant and UV stable. Printed images can last outdoors for up to three years, without the need of lamination or for any form of protection on inexpensive uncoated materials. Inks are supplied in large ink cartridges for production environments, these can be replaced when the machine is running and contain 220 or 440ml per colour, allowing large unattended print runs.

The machines are available in two widths; the 8365 is a 65" wide machine and the 8390 is a 90" wide machine. Both the 8365 and 8390 can be loaded with, either four colour, C M Y K or six colour C M Y K Lc Lm.

All printers are supplied with a media take up systems to ensure the output is not damaged in an unattended environment.
