Get ultimate line quality too – as thin as 0.04 mm and accurate to ±0.2% – with minuscule drops and continuous ink flow. Maximise your colour gamut – printer layers different colour ink drops over each other to create new colours. Professional colour management tools (PS model only) including automatic PANTONE® calibration, offset-printing press emulations and ICC profiles for Mac and Windows.

'Virtual computer' inside

Embedded Adobe® PostScript® 3™ RIP (for the ps models), with drivers for Macintosh® and Windows®. Your computer is immediately freed by a 'virtual computer' inside the printer. Embedded HP-GL/2 processor, with drivers for AutoCAD® and Windows®. 6 GB hard disk and 96 MB of RAM, expandable up to 160 MB. Powerful network card: HP JetDirect 10/100Base-TX print server, as well as USB and parallel ports.

Fast and efficient printing

Maximise your print efficiency with easy-to-install drivers, a fast-change ink-set, straight-forward media loading and an intuitive control panel. Enjoy unattended printing with 69 cc ink cartridges, long-life printheads, 45.7 m media rolls, automatic cutting and stacking (optional on 24-inch model). Robust printer for workgroups of 3 to 10 people, with print times as short as 60 seconds for A1-size prints. Three portrait A3+ images fit side by side on the 42-inch model.
